I have watched this Video years ago - and five Minutes ago I felt the urge to watch it - and it is still perfect: Great introduction, great subject, great interpretation

This is exactly the kind of great performance, that has been rewarded with the VPRO/BoyEdgarprijs... and with my great-full appreciation for what they let's hear in Bernie's Tone!!!! This is still extremely valid today in 2024.... still makes me cry...

Great piece and performance from all three. The audience forgot to clap for the sax solo, but I'm sure it was just one of those confused moments. The sax player certainly deserved applause 👏
